Young man stabbed and robbed of watch in late night attack

A quite shocking incident has sparked a police investigation. This is after a man was stabbed in the head and had his Tag Heuer watch stolen.

The incident happened late Friday night/Saturday morning (10/11 February) around 00:30am – 01:00am. The victim was walking near to the BP garage on Bursledon Road when he was approached by three males. They are thought to be between the ages of 16 and 25.

This incident could have cost the life of the victim, so it’s vitally important that the three males are identified and held accountable. Any information that could help should be passed to the police on 101, quoting 44230058362.

A picture of the watch that was stolen during the vicious attack has been included, and we’d ask that people keep an eye out for it. We have also been provided with an image of the injury sustained, but have chosen not to share that publicly given how horrific it will be to many.

Further images have now been provided, which show those responsible for this attack. As you can see, one of the three had a dog with them too, which may make it easier for someone to recognise them. Their clothing may also stand out.

Our thoughts are with the man and those close to him. Please support them by getting the word out there.
