Woman arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting 13 year old boy

As reported previously (here) a 13 year old boy was sexually assaulted at Primark in the city centre.

Today, the police have released an update to confirm that they’ve arrested a woman in connection with the incident. 

The woman, a 29 year old from Southampton, allegedly touched the 13 year boy over the top of his clothing and winked at him.  She was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.  

After being questioned by the police, she has since been released under investigation to allow them to carry out further enquiries.
