Witness Appeal – Theft of a mini digger and a skip loader in Southampton

The Police are appealing for witnesses after a mini digger and a skip loader were stolen in Southampton.  Both thefts took place on the building site behind the Co-Op in Archers Road SO15.

The first theft took place on 9 February 2022. CCTV footage shows two males stealing a 1.5 tonne yellow skip loader between 6:53pm and 7:12pm.  A white ford transit that has been linked with the incident was seen nearby.

The second theft took place between 3pm on 12 February and 7:45am on 14 February (over the weekend).  This time they took a Kubota 617-3 Excavator. The thieves damaged it, taking the roof off before leaving the scene with it.
