Victim of fatal crash named; tributes paid by family

Last week, we reported on a fatal collision that happened in the centre of Eastleigh. The accident was on Station Hill at around lunchtime on Tuesday.

Today, police have issued a statement including tributes from the family.

The 26 year old who lost his life has been named as Harrison Nathan Cross. He lived on Fair Oak Road, Bishopstoke.

Paying tribute to Harry, his family said;

“We are deeply heartbroken by the sudden loss of Harry/Harrison. He was the kindest son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.

Taken far too young and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

We will move forward with sadness of the memories we will not get to make, but cherish and smile looking back at the ones we did.”

Police are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the collision. Anyone with further information should contact them on 101, quoting the reference 44220225028.

Our thoughts remain with all of Harry’s friends and family.
