Two men arrested for indecent exposure

The police have arrested two men in connection to a series of incidents relating to indecent exposures in Eastleigh.

The latest incident happened at Leigh Road Recreational Ground.  At around 11pm yesterday evening (4 August) it is alleged a man exposed himself to a woman.

As a result, the police have arrested a 59 year old male, from Southampton on suspicion of indecent exposure.

The police have been investigating a number of similar exposure incidents on July 20, between 7.20pm and 9pm on Market Street and Nutbeem Road in Eastleigh.  It has been confirmed that officers have identified and detained a separate man in relation to these incidents.

The second man is a 47 year old male from Eastleigh, also arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.

They both remain in custody, whilst police continue to carry out further enquiries.

The police have urged the public to continue to report any suspicious activity, such as indecent exposures by calling 101, or via the Hampshire Constabulary website.
