Two bikes stolen from Bursledon road

Overnight, a Boardman bike was stolen from a shed in Bursledon Road, opposite Aldi’s, SO19. A silver bike was also taken at the same time. The shed lock was cut to gain access.

The salads have been captured on CCTV (images included) and the theft took place at 3am. Do you recognise them?

The owner of the Boardman bike uses this as his mode of transport for college. The theft will obviously now have a big impact on his day to day life.

The owner spent an awful lot of time and money fixing it up. Understandably, it holds a lot of sentimental value.

The bike has been heavily modified with after market brakes, drivetrain, red spoke nipples, red rotor blots, SRAM code RS breaks, SRAM GX 12 speed groupset, oneup dropper, with PNW lever, PNW loam grips, Continental tyres (Der Kaiser on the rear, Continental Der Baron on the front), Rockshox pike 140mm fork and SROM GX crankset.

Can we share this story in the hope that the bikes are spotted. It would be amazing if the bikes could be reunited with the owner, particularly the Boardman.

Please call 101 or let us know if you have any information about those pictured, or if you can provide any more general  information that could help.
