Suspect From Southampton Wanted in Alleged Assault Case on Bournemouth Beach

The Bournemouth police are currently on the lookout for Peter Johnson, a 37 year old man from Southampton, in connection with an alleged assault that took place on Sunday, 29 October, 2023. The incident occurred on the beach near the East Cliff zigzag path in Bournemouth.

Peter Johnson is described as standing at six feet tall with a stocky build. He has medium-length, very dark hair that extends below his ears and a dark-coloured stubble beard. Detectives are urging members of the public with any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

Detective Inspector Darren Moores, of the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole (BCP) Criminal Investigation Department (CID), stated, “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate Peter Johnson. While we have no information to indicate Johnson presents a risk to members of the public, anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him but to dial 999 immediately.”
