Stolen bike recovered and returned

One of the things that we’ve been involved in on numerous occasions, particularly in the SO19 area, is helping return motorbikes that have been stashed after being stolen.

Today was another example of this; we received a notification that a salad was struggling to ride a bike around Canberra Towers in Weston.  It was clear to the witness that stabilisers would have probably come in handy, after falling off it a few times.  

After sending us the details, we did a registration check and found that the bike had been stolen. We duly notified a biker group, known to recover bikes, and the bike was swiftly picked up and the owner was made aware.

Whilst not all our interactions are this successful, it’s successes like this that really make our day.
