Spotted: couple remove boot of car to fit Jerry Cans of petrol

Spotted today in Hedge End Sainsbury’s.

A couple pulled into the petrol station and stood out like a sore thumb owing to the colour of the vehicle. What also made it distinctive was the fact that it had no boot; not really something you forget to take with you when leaving home.

What concerned the onlooker, was when the male driver proceeded to fill up his car together with 2 jerry cans. He then put them in the boot without any secure fastening.

With the current issues around fuel, you have to wonder if we’d have as big a shortage if people like this didn’t buy inordinate amounts. Have you done the same?
