Southampton Murder Investigation: Fifth Man Arrested

Police investigating the murder of Mark Noke, 64, have arrested a fifth man in Southampton. Mr Noke died from a stab wound to the chest at his home on Warburton Road, Thornhill, in the early hours of Saturday, 25 February.

The latest arrest took place on 7 March, when a 21 year old man from Southampton was detained on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody after attending Southampton Central Police Station.

This follows the arrest of a 20 year old man on 6 March, who was later released on bail with conditions while investigations continue.

Three other men, aged 20, 23, and 31, from Southampton, were also bailed on 5 March in connection with the investigation.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb is leading the investigation and has stated that they will continue to carry out disruptive and proactive activity to progress the investigation and deliver justice for Mark and his family.
