Southampton man arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drug supply offences.  

After conducting a routine patrol in the Bursledon area this morning, they stopped a black Vauxhall on Shop Lane at around 1:30am.  After engaging with the driver, looking into why he was in the area they performed a search of the driver and the car. 

Their efforts were rewarded when a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and a quantity of money was uncovered.

A subsequent search of an address in Alma Road resulted in further quantities of cash and Class B drugs being found. All of which have been seized.

The man, 21 years old and from Southampton, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
