Second person charged in attempted murder investigation

A second man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Coleman Street, Southampton.

Bobby Roy, 18, from Matheson Road, Southampton, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife, blade or pointed article and violent disorder.

Roman Omari, 18, from Queensway, Southampton, was previously charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife, blade or pointed article and violent disorder. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 23 December.

This comes after a 19 year old suffered puncture wounds and was taken to hospital in critical condition. The incident took place in Coleman Street, at around 1:10pm on 18 November.

Thankfully, the 19 year old has now been discharged from hospital.
