Second burglary attempt in Woolston

We published a story yesterday about an unwanted visitor to a property in Obelisk Road, Woolston. That happened around 2:30am  yesterday.

Since writing the story, another couple have come forward with video footage of the same male. This time, shortly after 3am, he tried to gain access to their property on Bedford Avenue. This road links Obelisk Road to Swift Road, and so we now know the direction he took.

Fortunately, this man’s attempts to gain access to the property on Bedford Avenue were to no avail. It is, however, still a concern for the couple.

We still haven’t been able to obtain any clearer images of the man, and would ask anyone in that vicinity to check for footage from 2:30-3:30 yesterday morning, 20 April. If you have any footage that could help identify the man, please call the police on 101 or message us directly.
