Road closure this evening in SO19

Southern Water has announced that works are required to repair a leak located at the Woolston end of Portsmouth Road.

Given the extent of the work, it will be necessary to close the road for the full time they’re there. The road closure isn’t a long stretch, but is between the junction of Bridge/Victoria Road down to Woodley Road.

The closure will be effective from 8pm Sunday (27 March). At the moment, we do not have any indication of how long the work will take, but temporary signals will be in place.
