Power outage in SO19

At around 11:30 today, the power went down in various areas of SO19.  Having called Southern Electricity, they are currently looking into the issue, with an estimated resolution time of 14:30.

The code we have for the power cut is PT-QP3WYJ.  They are at this time unable to confirm the entire area that is affected but are receiving a number of calls/messages.

Lights

Leave at least one light on in the house so you know when your electricity is back on.

Keep warm

Dress warmly in several layers of clothes, wear a hat to help keep the heat in and try to stay active to help stimulate circulation.

Electrical devices

Your electronic devices will run out of charge, limit their use for emergencies. Some devices may have a low power mode this will help to reduce the amount of charge used.
