Police want to speak to a man who followed a young lady

Were you passing through West End at lunchtime on Wednesday, 15 February? And/or do you live in the area and have any doorbell footage that could be checked?

It’s been reported that a young lady was followed on foot by a male unknown to her for approximately ten minutes. This started on Megan Road, leading to Quob Lane and then  into Brookside Way. The intentions of the man are unknown, but on being confronted about his behaviour, he ran off, causing more suspicion.

This incident happened at around midday on Wednesday, and police have asked locals to check any available CCTV or video doorbell footage. If you do come across footage capturing the male and female concerned, please pass this to the police so they can review it and investigate further.

The man in question has been described as white, in his 30s, of slim build and around 5’10 in height. At the time, he was wearing a light grey coat with the Adidas logo on the front.
