Police investigate rape at Riverside Park

You may have seen that an area of Riverside Park has been cordoned off by the police.

Distressingly, this is due to a police investigation into a rape.

The police were called at 11:24pm yesterday after a report of a rape against an 18-year-old woman earlier that evening.

The police are currently investigating the incident and have confirmed that the lady is being supported by specialist officers.
