Police have charged a man after a motorbike collided with and injured 3 children

You may recall that a motorbike collided with three young girls on Onslow Road, seriously injuring one. The rider of the motorbike failed to stop, and the police subsequently put out an appeal for information.

Since the collision, police have now charged a 27 year old man with a number of offences. Oskars Bolsteins, of Harcourt Road in Southampton, has been charged with;

Causing serious injury by dangerous driving
Failing to stop after a road accident
Failing to report a road accident
Driving a vehicle without a valid licence
Using a motor vehicle on a road without insurance.

Bolsteins is due to appear at the Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, 8 August.
