Police find drugs during two successful raids

Police were up and active early yesterday morning, 30 May. This was all in the name of continuing to tackle drug related crime.

At around 8:20am yesterday, two addresses were searched; one in Summit Way and one in Cotswold Road. These are in the SO18 and SO16 areas. During the searches, a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs were found, as well as cash and other drug related paraphernalia.

Subsequently, two females (45 & 34) and one male (45) were arrested. All three were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

In addition, a 56 year old male was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs, as well as acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

Of the four arrested, three have been released under investigation. The 45 year old female currently remains in custody.
