Police act after group found with drugs, coffee and beef

Police were out on patrol in the area of Peartree Green (SO19) when they spotted three individuals acting suspiciously. They duly stopped them for a chat, but went on to search their belongings.

Unsurprisingly, cannabis was found, and seized. They also found a stash of coffee and a beef joint, as pictured. These items were also seized.

When asked why they had so much coffee, the excuse given was that one of their mother’s drinks a lot of it. We couldn’t possibly pass judgement on that comment, but safe to say, we share in the suspicions of many.

Great to see the police out and about. Many will say that we don’t see them enough, and that’s probably right, but numbers are limited, as we know too well.

As well as having the items taken from them, the three concerned were issued with a cannabis warning. We can only hope that their Mum copes well enough without the 35 cups a day.
