MET police stumble across Southampton drug farm

The MET police attended a property on the East Side of the city yesterday, but soon involved the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Unrelated to their initial attendance, they actually found 107 cannabis plants split across two bedrooms of the property. After the find, all plants and equipment associated with their cultivation were seized/disabled by the police so as to halt any further production of the drug.

At the time of writing, the tenant has not been identified or found, but enquiries are ongoing.

Police have urged the public to continue reporting drug related activity in and around local communities. They may not always be able to attend every report, but it certainly helps them build a picture, track any trends, and patrol when and where needed.
