Man steals helmet from charity shop

A man has been caught on CCTV stealing a motorcycle helmet from a charity shop in Woolston.

At approximately 13:15 today (30/11/21) the man is seen inspecting the helmet before moving on to other items. He looks around, walks back to the helmet, picks it up and walks off without paying. He is wearing a black and blue jacket, has grey hair and is pulling what looks like a small suitcase or trolley.

The theft occurred at the Southampton Special Purpose workSHOP on Bridge Road. The shop sells pet food and house and garden furniture. All items are made by adults with special needs. Their website is www.sspw.co.uk.

If you recognise the man from this image please contact the police.
