Man pulls knives on police, gets tasered in city centre incident

Another knife incident in Southampton.

At around 12:09pm yesterday, police were on patrol when they noticed a man acting suspiciously in Banister Road, SO15.

The officers approached the man who didn’t stop, so the they followed him.  This lead to the man producing two large Kitchen knives, pointing them at the officers.  

The police, using tasers were able to disarm and eventually arrest the man.

Cori Bone, 25 years old, from Holbury was charged with possessing a knife in a public place and breach of bail conditions.

He appeared at Southampton Magistrate’s Court yesterday (30 August) where he was remanded to appear at the same court on 5 September.
