Man charged with sexual assault at a nightclub

A 33 year old man from Bishops Road, Southampton, has been charged following an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning, 17 July.

Police were called to a nightclub shortly after 1:30am following reports that a male had sexually assaulted a female in her 20s over her clothing. The assault took place in Lower Bannister Street.

Aliou Bah has been charged with sexual assault on a female. He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court yesterday where he was bailed pending a Crown Court hearing on 15 August.
