Man attempts to break into property before stealing items from car in SO19

Can you help identify an unwanted visitor? 

At 2:37am today, this man tried to gain access to a property on Obelisk Road in Woolston. The property is located at the top end of the road, near to the junction with St Anne’s Road. 

His attempt to access the house (both the front and back entrances were tried) was unsuccessful, but he did manage to get into the victim’s car. In doing so, he was able to steal a number of items including money and a key. 

To have had this done has naturally scared the victim. We hope the man responsible is caught and suitably dealt with by the police.
