Man arrested with a suspected 75 wraps of Class A drugs

At around 10am today, The High Harm Team and the Southampton North Policing team stopped a man who was getting in a car in Earls Road.  

They searched the vehicle and found 75 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, along with around £480 in cash and two mobile phones.

As a result, the police arrested the 47-year-old man from Southampton on the suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

They also carried out a search at his property in Osborne Road South, SO17, seizing a further £240 as well as other items.

The man remains in the custody of police at this time.
