Images of suspect released following knifepoint robbery

We published an appeal yesterday, 16 February, following a knife point robbery in Harefield. Since writing, a further update on the incident has been provided, details of which are below; the original story wording is also under this article for ease of reference.

At around 9:30pm on Wednesday, 15 February, a man entered One Stop on Exford Avenue. Brandishing a knife, he threatened an 18 year old staff member at the till before stealing the contents.

At the moment, the combined value of money and other items stolen during the robbery is unknown. The man is said to have left the store, meet another male, and flee the scene together on a moped.

Pictures from CCTV have been included, and we’d plea to anyone who knows more about the incident to do the right thing and provide police with any relevant information.

Police Inspector Brian Goodall released the following statement;

“Thankfully no-one was injured but the staff members working yesterday evening are understandably shaken by what happened.

“We are working hard to identify the two men involved and remain at the scene to conduct further forensic enquiries.

“If you have any footage of the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or know who was responsible, please get in touch.”
