Four Arrested in Winchester Drug Offence Operation

In an ongoing campaign to combat drug-related harm, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary executed a successful operation leading to the arrest of four individuals suspected of drug offences. The operation unfolded at an address on Pemerton Road in Winchester on 12 October.

Officers conducted a raid, during which a substantial quantity of suspected Class A drugs, cash, and mobile phones were seized. The operation is part of the Constabulary’s comprehensive “Fortress” initiative aimed at reducing the impact of drug-related activities on the community.

Among those arrested is a 52 year old woman from Winchester, taken into custody on suspicion of permitting the use of a premises for supplying Class A drugs, assaulting an emergency worker, and causing public disorder. Additionally, a 24 year old man from Fareham, a 31 year old man, and a 35 year old man, both from Winchester, were apprehended on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

As of now, all four individuals remain in police custody.
