Driver sought after 11 year old girl injured

Southampton Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a road traffic collision that occurred on Monday (13 March), where an 11 year old girl was injured.

According to reports, the pedestrian was crossing Oakley Road at the junction with Walnut Grove when she was involved in a collision with a black car. The incident occurred between 2.50pm and 3.20pm.

The female driver of the car reportedly stopped at the scene, but did not provide any details before leaving. The 11 year old girl sustained an injury to her foot.

Police are now urging anyone with relevant dash-cam or CCTV footage, or who witnessed the incident, to come forward. They are seeking information that may help identify the car or its driver.
