Dispersal order for Bitterne

Police have received an increased number of reports of anti-social in Bitterne Precinct of late. This will probably come as no surprise to many who shop there.

On the back of the reports received, authorisation for a dispersal order has been granted. It’s hoped that this will aid in tackling the problem.

The dispersal order will allow police to direct anyone involved in anti-social behaviour away from the area. Failure to do so will have consequences.

The dispersal order will be in place from 3pm today (25 March) until midnight tomorrow (26 March).
