Court appearance due after woman bitten at pub

Following an incident back in 2021, a 47 year old female is due to appear in court tomorrow, 9 March.

Lucy Anne Hardwick, of Warsash Road in Fareham will face charges of grevious bodily harm without intent. She will also face charges of theft.

The incident itself took place at the Strawberry Field Tavern in Locks Heath. This was after midnight on 12 December 2021.

Police received reports that a serious assault had taken place, resulting in a woman in her 50s sustaining a substantial bite to her arm. A bottle of wine for a charity raffle was stolen from the premises too.

It’s important to remember that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The outcome of the court hearing will depend on the evidence presented, and ultimately the decision made by the court.
