Cannabis factory found after police raids

In the early hours of yesterday morning, 17 August, police executed two simultaneous warrants at addresses in Totton.

They’d received information that the supply of illegal drugs was taking place within the properties, and swiftly took action.

Whilst at the addresses, another ‘suspect’ address was identified. A search of that property resulted in a male being arrested, and a cannabis factory being found; every room had been converted for the cultivation of plants.

The police seized a number of possessions, including a vehicle.

Enquires will continue and the male arrested remains in custody at this time.

This follows on from a number of recent incidents, where the police have arrested alleged drug dealers in the area.  It shows that if residents are able to provide/report information, the police will act on it.
