Bus stop vandalised in SO19

Damage being caused to bus stops isn’t something new, but of late it just seems to be a rising trend.

Just yesterday, a video was shared on social media. The video, taken from a ring doorbell, clearly showed two young girls seemingly kicking the bus stop relentlessly. There was clearly no regard given to the damage being caused, and we cannot understand at all what the motive is to carry out such mindless vandalism. 

Youngsters don’t have the burden of household bills, but surely they should have the morals instilled to know right from wrong?

We won’t share the video on our news page given that it includes minors. However, here’s an image of the damage caused to the bus stop in question. This particular one is on Bursledon Road.
