Burglary in Ashley Lane, Lymington Sparks Appeal for Information

Hampshire police have launched an appeal for information following a burglary that occurred in Ashley Lane, Lymington, on the evening of Thursday, 28 September, 2023. The incident, which took place between 7:10pm and 9:45pm, resulted in the theft of valuable items totaling £15,000 from a shed and a vehicle, both of which were forcibly entered. Additionally, two other vehicles in the vicinity were broken into and damaged during the same incident.

The stolen items are described as follows:

– Privateer custom-made mountain bike, with an aluminium, silver and red suspension
– Honda 22i 3kw generator (red)
– Makita Kango drill (teal) with a metal chuck x 2
– Makita Combi hammer drill (teal) with a metal chuck x 2
– Makita impact driver (teal) 
– Makita reciprocating saw (teal)
– Makita 5 amp power tool batteries (black) x 4
– 10ltr, half-full jerry can (red)
– Makita battery charger docks (black) x 2
– Mac Allister 4-inch disc cutter (black and white) 
– Mac Allister two-handled 9-inch angle grinder (black and white)

The police are keen to speak to two individuals believed to be connected to this incident. They are described as follows:

– Both wearing grey tracksuits
– Both wearing dark trainers (a pair of which were Nike Air Max 95)
– One appeared bald
– Both were older than teenagers
