Boy doing wheelie on motorcycle collides with Uber
Yesterday evening (12 March) a lad was doing wheelies on a motorcycle around the Shirley area. Unfortunately during one of these wheelies on Shirley Road, he collided with an Uber.
The impact from the collision sent the boy on the motorcycle into the air, landing on his back. Fortunately he was able to get back onto his feet before fleeing the scene, leaving his blood and a shoe behind.
These incidents not only put the riders lives at risk, they also have a lasting affect on the driver of the car they collide with. We hope the insurance will cover the cost of the damage and he isn’t out of work for too long.
Let’s hope the lad fully recovers and this serves as a warning to the rider and his friends, we fear it may not however.

I’m not surprised either .We nearly collided with a learner driver on Saturday .He even had the audacity to stop and clap 😡😡Thing was he didn’t know the rules of the road and was overtaking 2 small lorries turning left as we were pulling out .Lucky him lucky us .No common sense .Do they learn ? I fear not
