Another Dispersal Order in Millbrook

Police have today issued a further dispersal order in Millbrook. It will be in place from 3pm today until at least 3pm on Sunday, but could be further extended.

The areas covered are on the map shown, but include known spots for anti-social behaviour. These areas include Millbrook Towers, Windermere Avenue and Mansel Park.

The order is in direct response to reports of continued anti-social behaviour, and criminal damage.

Police will now have the power to disperse anyone involved in such behaviour. Failure to disperse could result in arrests being made.

Inspector Sarah Nicholson indicated that there was a positive impact when previous orders were issued. As such, she saw it fit and right to continue in their efforts to tackle the minority who have not yet taken things on board.

Inspector Nicholson went on to say that officers will be more visible in patrolling the areas. They’ll also be conducting enquiries to identify those responsible.

If you do have information that could help, please stop and talk to anyone on patrol. Or, please report online, or via 101.
