‘Severed ear’ found on housing estate

At lunchtime yesterday, 20 March, police were alerted and dispatched to the area of Colne Avenue in Millbrook.

What appeared to be severed ear was found by a local. The area has been cordoned off, and the ‘object’ will be analysed by a specialist team.

Early indications are that the ear belonged to an animal, but confirmation has yet to be received.
