Youths seen attempting to break open a lockbox

One of our readers/followers has contacted us directly with a concern. We’re hoping someone may be able to assist with further information.

It’s been reported that yesterday a local spotted some youths riding a red scooter/motorbike in the Weston area of SO19.

The youths were also trying to break into the lockbox from the bike. Pictures of the box (still locked) are included, and these were taken on the field behind Chamberlayne Leisure Centre. We can’t confirm, but the activity would suggest the bike was stolen.
