Bike seized by police in SO16

When we attended the PACT meeting for Bitterne and Sholing, the police advised us on the number of reported stolen motorbikes.  We disputed the figure, based on the number we see on social media.

The difference can be put down to location, as what is stolen from one area and located in another can skew things. There are also still some that go unreported for whatever reason.

Southampton Cops have managed to successfully locate and seize a motorcycle this morning from Windermere Avenue.  The bike has not been reported stolen. That coupled with it having no plates means it’s not as easy to reunite with its owner.

At the PACT meeting we suggested to the police they should be more open to communicate their wins, looks like they have taken that on board.  The amount of information they are releasing to the public recently is refreshing. The results they are communicating can only be applauded.

Do you recognise this bike? Is it yours? Call 101with any information.

Motorbikes like push-bikes also carry a number on the inside of the fork tube
