Theft from front garden in SO19

What constitutes a crime when it comes to theft? A car? A bike? A phone? A Wallet? A pack of sweets? This really is a no brainer, and the giveaway words are crime and theft; they go hand in hand, and neither are acceptable.

Yesterday, a couple in Sholing were the victims of theft. To some it may mean nothing, but principals are everything these days, and the impact is the same, irrespective of the item stolen. People still feel violated and people still feel cheated.

In this instance, in Bishops Road, a lovely couple were stripped of one of their ornate pots from the front of their house. It could sound comical on the face of it, but the theft was so brazen it’s unreal. It’s almost as if  these Salads actually  targeted the drive for an old chimney pot planter- can you imagine being  that desperate to break the law!

If anyone can make out the detail from the CCTV images below, and/or can identify the Bill/Ben wannabes, please drop us a message in confidence.
