SO19 – Bike theft and attempted break in

Last night was incident packed, and involving motorcycles, again.

In Sholing (just off Butts Road), a red and black Aprilia sx 125 was stolen.  The bike was taken some time between 01:00 and 05:00.  Did you see or hear anything? 

This is not the first time this bike has been stolen. We’re sure this will trigger comments like “He needs better security/locks”.  However, we’d much prefer to focus on the fact that the salads who took the bike need to find a hobby they can afford to do, using their own funds/equipment.

That wasn’t the only activity we’ve been notified of. Around 04:15, 2 salads were seen attempting to forcefully gain access to a garage in Granger Gardens.  Fortunately a couple of neighbours spooked them and they rode off on a motorbike.  It’s unclear at this time what they were targeting, but it serves as a reminder how as a community, looking out for each other is so beneficial.
