Drugs Warrant Executed In Southampton

Another win for Southampton Police.

In the early hours of this morning, the Bargate Neighbourhoods Team executed a warrant in Ocean Way, SO14.

The warrant proved to be a success! Suspected class A drugs, drugs paraphernalia, mobile phones and cash were located within the premises.

One male suspect was arrested and taken into custody for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

This is not the first time we’ve shared a police success story where drugs are concerned. Some will say it’s recreational, but ultimately, drug use and supply is an underlying cause for many other crimes.

In Southampton, there are reportedly 1.9k crimes involving drugs every year.   However, the current year on year trend is reducing, which goes to show that the work the police are doing is working. Let’s hope this trend continues.
