Man Arrested For Dwelling Burglary

Great work from The Southampton High Harm Team! 

After a break in today in the Bannister Park area, the police have managed to detain a suspect in relation to the incident.  Please find the details below:

“A 45 year old Southampton man was today arrested on suspicion of dwelling burglary. This was following a break in to a residential property in the Bannister Park area of the city. 
Stop and search powers were utilised to great effect by officers of the Southampton High Harm Team who stopped the man close to Southampton Common and recovered items taken during the burglary.  
At this time the man remains in Police custody. This break in occurred during daylight hours in a residential area.
