Murder investigation: Seventh man arrested

A seventh man has been arrested in connection with the murder investigation of Mark Noke, who died of a stab wound to his chest at his home in Warburton Road, Thornhill, in the early hours of Saturday, 25 February.

The 64 year old’s death sparked a police investigation that has led to the arrest of six other men, aged between 20 and 31, on suspicion of murder. They have since been released on bail.

At 11.30am yesterday (15 March), a 39 year old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in Queensway, Southampton. He remains in police custody.

She also assured residents in the Thornhill area that extra patrols are ongoing, and encouraged anyone with concerns to speak to officers.
