Southampton Murder Investigation Results in Sixth Arrest

The police have arrested a sixth person in connection with the murder investigation of Mark Noke, 64, who died of a stab wound in his home in Warburton Road, Thornhill, on 25 February.

On 8 March, a 28 year old man of no fixed abode was taken into custody on suspicion of murder. The individual has been released on bail as the investigation continues.

Earlier, five other men, aged between 20 to 31, from Southampton were also arrested and have been released on bail as part of the investigation.

The police are asking the public to come forward with any information they might have regarding the case, by calling 101 or by submitting information through the website, quoting “Operation Hibiscus” or the crime reference number 44230077698.

The police have expressed their dedication to finding justice for the victim and his family and continue to urge the public to assist in the investigation.
