Southampton Murder Investigation: Three Arrested in Connection with the case

Three arrests have been made by police officers investigating a murder in Southampton. The police carried out warrants at two addresses in International Way around 12:15am and another address on Bursledon Road at around 3:05am on 28 February, as part of their investigation into the death of a man in his 60s.

The man was found dead in his address on Warburton Road, Southampton in the early hours of Saturday (25 February). The three men aged 20, 23 and 31, all from Southampton, were arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody as enquiries continue.

Detective Chief Inspector Dal Andrews is leading the investigation and has called it a “fast-moving investigation” with the staff and officers working around the clock to carry out their enquiries.

The police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward and share any footage or information they might have, as it could be of immense help to the ongoing investigation. Superintendent Philip Lamb, has set up a mobile police station in Warburton Road and urged anyone in the local area to contact the police if they have any concerns.
