Two men wanted after Winchester assault

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection with an assault that took place at the Bakers Arms pub on Winchester High Street on 3 February.

The incident occurred around 11:20pm when an unprovoked attack was carried out against a man in his 20s who had his head stamped on. The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment and has since been released.

The police have released two photographs of the men they wish to speak to as part of their investigation. Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the individuals in the images are urged to contact the police immediately.

Members of the public who can assist with the investigation are asked to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 44230047209.  Alternatively, information can be reported online.
