Van full of stolen goods found in Totton street

A sequence of burglaries, coupled with items now being found in Totton, has sparked police to call on the public for assistance.

The burglaries were as follows;

On 5 February, a white Ford Transit van was stolen from Dorset

On 7 February, between 9pm and 10:30pm, a quad bike was stolen from a business on Rhinefield Road, Brockenhurst

Between 5pm on 7 February and 7:30am on 8 February, a quantity of tools were stolen from Hopclover Way, Ringwood.

The stolen quad bike was fitted with a tracking device, which activated on 8 February as being in Singleton Way, Totton. Police duly attended the area (near to the Radleigh Gardens junction), located the transit van, with the aforementioned quad bike and tools in the back.

Whilst the items have now been returned to their rightful owners, police are keen to try and ascertain who was responsible. They’d be keen to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious around the burglary locations, and similarly, if anyone witnessed who may have parked the van in Totton.
