Winchester Burglary Investigation Underway

The police are investigating a burglary that took place in the Main Road area of Itchen Abbas on Saturday, 4 February. The incident occurred between 6pm and 11pm, when the offender(s) broke into the unoccupied property and stole items of jewellery.

DC Stephen Jakes has asked for assistance from anyone who may have information related to the crime, via social media. “I am appealing for anyone who was in the Main Road area of Itchen Abbas around the time of the incident. Did you see anyone in the area acting suspiciously? Were you driving through the area and do you have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle?”

The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and call 101, quoting reference number 44230048533. Additionally, people can report their information online via the police website. The police are committed to bringing the offender(s) to justice and ask for the public’s help in this investigation.
