Update – attempted murder investigation

Following the story we reported last week, an 18 year old has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, among other things.

Roman Omari, 18, from Queensway, Southampton, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife, blade or pointed article and violent disorder.

This comes after a 19 year old suffered puncture wounds and was taken to hospital in critical condition. The incident took place in Coleman Street, at around 1:10pm on the 18th November.

Thankfully, the 19 year old has now been discharged from hospital.
